Label design

Commissioning a custom piece of artwork for the label as we have, means bringing a clear idea before the right talent.

Andrew Davidson, with our direction, carved this reversed image in the end grain of a block of English box wood. Then the block was rolled up in ink and transferred via hand press onto paper. The label artwork was meant to convey in symbology one way of understanding Interbeing. The interconnected & complimentary nature of the physical & spiritual dimensions are displayed by the branches and roots respectively. The being sitting at the base contemplates & understands both parts of nature. Here the formless and spiritual dimension join form and the material in our symbology. It is one of many possible keys or pointers to the teaching.

See below this quotation from Hermes:

“But you should contemplate in your mind how that which to many seems hidden and not manifest may be manifest to you. For it were not all, if it were apparent, for whatsoever is apparent is generated or made; for it was made manifest but that which is not manifest is eternal. For it need not be manifested, for it always is and was. And he makes all other things manifest, being not manifest, as being always, and making other things manifest, he has not made manifest. God is not made, yet in fantasy he imagines all things, or in appearance he makes them appear; for appearance is only of those things which are generated or made, for appearance is nothing but generation. But he that is one, that is not made or generated, is as apparent and not manifest. But making all things appear, he appears in all, and by all; but especially he is manifested to or in those things wherein he makes himself apparent.
